Referrals and Collaboration
You are a welcome partner here.
We work well with the professionals who help our clients manage their financial lives — and we would like to work well with you.
When you send someone to us, you are putting your own reputation on the line. We take that seriously. Our aim is that your client comes back to you glad you made the introduction.
What You Can Count On
Three promises we make to every advisor.
We keep you informed
With your client’s permission, we keep you in the loop throughout — what is being designed, when documents are signed, and what still needs to happen with accounts and beneficiary designations. You should not have to ask your client what happened.
We stay in our lane
We are a law firm. We do not advise on investments, recommend products, or suggest moving assets. Your relationship with your client is yours, and our work is meant to strengthen it.
We do the work well
Clear explanations, a plan the client actually understands, and a firm that is still reachable afterward. The referral should reflect well on you long after the signing.
Where We Are Most Useful To You
The parts that usually fall through the cracks.
A trust that is never funded does not work. Beneficiary designations that contradict the plan undo it. These are the places where a law firm and an advisor genuinely need each other.
- Coordinating beneficiary reviews against the plan we have designed
- Practical support to help trust funding actually get completed
- Direct communication with you when your client authorizes it
- A responsive point of contact, so questions do not sit
- Guidance for the executors and trustees your clients name
What Your Client Experiences
Education first, then decisions, then documents.
We explain the options and what each would mean in practice. The client asks as many questions as they need, decides, and then we build the plan around those choices. Nothing is pulled off a shelf.

An Open Invitation
Let’s connect our two industries.
Lisa is genuinely happy to come to you. If any of the following would be useful to your team or your clients, just ask — there is no cost and no catch.
For your team
- A lunch and learn at your office
- Training on how estate planning intersects with what you do
- A roundtable with other professionals in the field
For your clients
- A co-hosted educational seminar
- A speaker for an existing client event
- Plain-language materials you can hand to a client who is not ready yet
Let’s Talk
Start with a conversation, not a referral.
You are welcome to get to know us before you send anyone. Patti Papworth, our Outreach and Marketing Coordinator, is your point of contact for questions about referrals, our services, or setting up any of the sessions above.
